My Fleep:  Internet
Stop Your Competitors from Stealing Your Customers

Are you struggling with marketing your business online?

Are your online customers being stolen from under your nose?

Are you beginning to think your website is a lemon?

Like most of us you are probably don't know where to go to
get the best out of your website and your online business.
Your web designer has created your site but not provided
you with quality information on how to make it work for you
24 hours a day.

There is a misconception out there that if you have a
website your business will get bigger and better – WRONG!
You will probably spend thousands of dollars on a new
website just to have nobody visit it. Why? because nobody
knows about you!

It has taken many successful online marketeers years to
find the best secrets and methods to online marketing.
Contrary to all the sales methods thrown at your mailbox
everyday you do not have to spend much money at all to
market online. Let's face it you probably had a website
created because you figured it would be inexpensive
marketing for your business. Of course it is very expensive
if nobody is visiting you.

So how do you get your stolen customers back?

There are some very simple techniques that anybody can use
without any training or assistance.  I have listed them
here in order of merit:

1. Get yourself into the search engines. I don't mean
submit once and forget. This will not work. Have your site
submitted to all the main search engines at a bare minimum
once a month. This means you are increasing your search
engine ranking and probably taking over your competitor.
The best thing about this is you can pay to have this done
for a very tiny price and you don't have to do anything
else.

2.  List your business in free and low cost classified
sites. There are a heap of them out there – some better
than others. You will find that not only are you listing in
a classified site but, most of the sites are polled out to
the search engines and you get your listing found in the
mainstream search engines as well.

3.  Write articles for ezines. Articles for ezines are
amazingly effective. You get to share information with
others on a topic you are familiar with and at the same
time you can promote your business. Further to this you
have yet another way to get yourself into the mainstream
search engines as most ezines are regularly submitting
their articles to them.

4. Post to mailing lists. This is probably the last thing
you would consider doing but it does work. You need to
become a member of either a free or paid mailing list. This
means that every email and advertisement you create is safe
and will not be classified as spam because those on these
lists want to be there.

These 4 steps you can perform with very little knowledge or
understanding. They are uncomplicated and will work every
time.

If you have a bit more time there are some other methods of
promoting your business such as power submitters to
directories, auto responders for email marketing, forum
marketing, listing as an affiliate if you have product to
sell. But, if you only have half an hour every other day
the top 4 steps are your best way to go and look at other
methods further down the track.

As a rule you only can easily get away with marketing your
business on the web in just 30 minutes a week. Those 30
minutes could be the most important 30 minutes your
business has ever seen.

Finally if you follow the above 4 steps over the long term
your business will create more income, more awareness than
that of regular advertising. Why? Because today most people
are on the internet, most people look for required products
and services using search engines, they will not look
further than the first 3 pages of the search engine.

We are in a global society and awareness of your product or
service can take you to places you have never been.

I wish you much prosperity.
